About our Pastor

Apostle Mancil Carroll III is the Pastor and Founder of Mount Zion Christian Fellowship. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Apostle Carroll has overcome many obstacles in his pursuit of God's glory. God has given him a strong vision to see as many people as possible develop a stronger relationship with God. He has a fervency for teaching God's people and developing leaders within the body of Christ. He has a heart for developing pastors and planting churches. Apostle Carroll believes that the power of God is strong enough to change even the hardest heart.

Apostle Carroll grew up on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from Lindblom Technical High School, he studied pre-law at Purdue University for 2 1/2 years before transferring to the University of North Texas to study Business Administration. Apostle Carroll has a thirst for knowledge and is preparing to continue his studies in the Masters of Divinity program with Criswell College. Apostle Carroll has an apostolic vision for planting churches in order to advance the Gospel. One of his goals is to eventually develop a network of pastors and churches called the Antioch Fellowship of Churches. Through this work, Apostle Carroll desires, one day, to see hundreds of churches planted within the states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.

Apostle Carroll was installed as an apostle under Pastor Larry Shelby of Christ is King Church of Gary, Indiana. From the ministry of Apostle Carroll, three churches have been launched within the Dallas Metroplex. Each challenge in his life has been used as a stepping stone in his personal relationship with Christ. And now, his main goal is that of the Apostle Paul's: "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings..."

Apostle Carroll is the devoted husband of First Lady Maxine Carroll and the father of three children; Jasmine, Paris, and Metia.
